Cynthia Wahlig

A Pennsylvania native, I was first introduced to firearms after relocating to NW Georgia. After joining a woman’s organization to develop shooting skills and learn handgun safety, my passion for teaching was ignited. I’m a retired business professional, known as an outgoing, honest and highly social, and committed to accompanying women on the journey to self-empowerment by sharing my skills, knowledge, and experiences. I understand that firearms are dangerous tools and the handling of one may be intimidating, especially for female students. I model safety protocols at all times, and use a calm, reassuring presence in both the classroom and the range to assist students in overcoming psychological barriers.

I’m a member of the National organization “A Girl and A Gun,” and lead Georgia chapters in Holly Springs and Kennesaw. I’m a member of the National “Armed Women of America” organization and a prior chapter leader. Credentials include certification as an NRA Range Safety Officer, and certifications in “Stop the Bleed”, D.R.A.W Academy Level One, and Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (Crase).

USCCA Certifications: Concealed Carry & Home Defense, Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense, Children’s Firearms & Safety Fundamentals
